Ireland’s national post-primary school esports competition — giving students a structured, inclusive and safe way to represent their school, build teamwork, and compete on a national level.
Schools now register and manage their teams on schoolesports.ie, our dedicated schools platform, with live national finals at the National Esports Centre in Cork.

THE SEASON
The School Esports Cup runs as two stages across the school year, each ending in its own live finals — with the overall championship decided at the Grand Finals.
Winter Stage
League games through October and November, concluding with a live finals at the end of November.
Spring Stage
League games through February and March, concluding with a live finals at the end of March.
Grand Finals
Finalists from both stages meet to decide the School Esports Cup — held later in the school year.
HOW A STAGE RUNS
We run the tournament and support your staff throughout — schools verify their students, and teachers keep oversight without the admin. Schools may enter as many teams as they wish, and all students are welcome regardless of gender or experience. Full format, rules and dates are on schoolesports.ie.
